Board of Directors

Members of the board of directors of an association serve without compensation unless the bylaws of the association provide to the contrary. The board’s authority includes all of the powers and duties enumerated in general law, as long as these powers are not inconsistent with the provisions of the documents governing the HOA.

As your Villas of Pine Forest HOA Board of Directors, it is our goal to maintain, protect, and enhance the value of our homes and lifestyle at Villas of Pine Forest. Moreover, we hope to promote an atmosphere of goodwill for the entire community's residents and guests. Our mission is to make and continue to maintain Villas of Pine Forest as neighborhood of the year.

The Villas @ Pine Forest Homeowners Association Board Members are:

Lanisha Thornton (President)- has been a resident of Tallahassee for over 25 years. Lanisha, and her husband Cornelious, have lived in Villas of Pine Forest community since 2012. They have four beautiful children and one grandchild.

Lanisha has been serving on the Board of Directors since September 2014; and has held many positions since 2016, with President being most recent.

She is a full-time Senior Legal Assistant with the State of Florida Public Service Commission. Outside of that she is the Founder & Owner of Runnin' Buzz Bartending, a commissioned appointed member of the Minority, Women, & Small Business Enterprise Advisory Committee of Leon County, Florida, two-term Vice President of the United States Bartenders Guild, and an active member of the Tallahassee/Southside Community. Her diverse work ethic and background has allowed her to maintain experience in dealing with many areas of personal, commercial, and business- related matters.

Tiffany Williams - (Secretary)- My name is Tiffany Williams, and I have been a proud resident of Tallahassee, FL, since the day I was born. Since 1996, I have had the pleasure of working full-time with the State of Florida as a Real Estate - Sr. Analyst, a role that I am deeply passionate about. In addition to my professional responsibilities, I have also had the pleasure of serving on the Board as Secretary since 2022.

Tiffany have been living in the lovely community of Villas of Pine Forest since 2009 with 2 children. It has been a wonderful place to call home, and I am grateful for the sense of community it provides.

Tammekia Watts - (Treasurer)-Tammekia Watts is a Senior Auditor for the Florida Department of Children & Families. She also served on the Board of Director for Big Bend Pop Warner, a member of Florida Association of Inspector General (AIG), Institute of Internal Auditing (IIA) and has been a member of Villas Pine Forest Board since 2018. Tammekia has both a Bachelors and Master of Public Administration from The Florida A&M University. Tammekia and her Husband, Ralph have lived at the Villas of Pine Forest community for 12 years and have 2 beautiful children.
